At the moment I still have no orders, and my last clearing day is the 29th of this month. If I was to get a couple of orders by Saturday there is a chance I'd be okay financially, but, as I haven't heard from anyone in the last few days, I'm not certain how likely that is. Therefore I'm turning to my online community for help. Right now, although I know James can help, I'm in one of the most difficult positions I've been in, especially as my back-up fund has now been entirely drained.
My target is £300. This is entirely going to go towards the rent. I'm offering one new story for £10, which will be at least 3000 words, or any donation to go towards the completion of one of my unfinished stories. For those of you who don't know much about my worlds I'm going to post the most basic information in a cut below, which will also include world/collections I haven't started writing for.
The Afterlife - stories about spirits living in the afterlife, including Death, which also involves a number of angels, the most often written about one being Samael.
Aurora's World - a world where magic has been made illegal, which leads to all sorts of interesting things happening. Each Kingdom has reacted differently to that, so there are magic thieves, an underground sanctuary, hideouts in the mountains, and people hiding the magical skills they have.
The Brotherhood - the Millennium Bug is real, but it didn't have an effect on the computer systems of the world - instead it led to the birth of children with powers, who later become known as the Millennium Children. Obviously this has an effect on them. For the shapeshifters it's far more difficult to hide, so they're the ones that have the greatest difficulty.
The Deities' World - pretty self explanatory. These are stories about the many deities of Earth, and their children.
The Demon Assassins - this is one of the collections I haven't started writing for, so I'd love to be able to. As I haven't started writing I don't know much about it, apart from the fact there are assassins that are demons.
The Donor House - the home of vampires who are learning to live with humans. The majority of the stories are set in the first house, some are set outside the house, and then there are a couple of AUs - one where Henry the 8th is turned into a vampire and one where there is a 'cure' for vampirism.
The Fae World - this is one of the largest collections, with stories set on numerous worlds. The first of the worlds is Kalinia, where the fae lived, but they destroyed it, so there are stories set both pre and post-apocalypse. Other worlds have been created by the fae by travelling to Earth, as their magic changes everything, while there are stories about the other races who fled Kalinia.
Heliopath's World - a world where using magic has repercussions. Every single spell that's cast has an effect on the caster, and how bad this is depends on the level of the user. For someone who's not learnt much magic they're going to deal with something along the lines of headaches, while someone at the highest level could easily find themselves having to spend three days in bed after casting a spell.
The Inquisition - I don't write much for this any longer, but the basic idea behind it is the existence of an Inquisition now and how that has an effect on life. I would like to write more, however.
Kim's Earth - after the apocalypse on Earth, only it's a man-made apocalypse that leads to the majority of people left being under the age of consent in their country (which is sixteen in the UK), and what life has turned out like. There's one AU I want to work on that has zombies, although I haven't started it yet, so if you're interested feel free to request a story.
The Magi - stories about a group of healers who were once slaves of another race. It starts at a time when that race find themselves dealing with an illness that they need help with, only they believe the Magi wouldn't be willing to help them. They were mostly right, apart from those who are true healers.
Missing - this is going to be a series of stories about one person who travels through my worlds, beginning on one of the World Walkers' Worlds, Taithmarin.
Pagan - stories about a group of young adult pagans in the UK, including Anna, who's a walk-in, Juliet, Vitali, and more.
The Sleeping World - a world that people travel to in their sleep, which has an affect on their waking life. Again this isn't a collection I've done much work on, but I know what I want to write for it, as this is one of the worlds I understand best.
The Ships - a collection based on something that could have happened on Kim's Earth. In order to deal with the increasing number of people some are sent off on ships, with the World Government saying they're being sent somewhere, only no one believes that. Another one I haven't done much for, and is very character driven.
Thear - another world that has a strong connection to a number of deities that were once Earth deities. The stories are focusing, at the moment, on what happens when one race tries to take over the island they live on.
West Sun Rising - a collection set in a post-apocalyptic universe, that I really want to write more about, with two of the main characters being a lesbian couple called Holly and Ginger, one of whom owns their own ship and the other who's a thief.
The World Walkers - another group of the fae travelled from Kalinia to Athare. In order to protect Athare from the same ending a number of the fae created the Web, so there are stories set on numerous world, including Aerith, the world of Winter; Beshaki, the world that's split into three - day, night, and twilight; and Raenarin, the Witch world.
Every little really will help me out at the moment. Having no back-up fund is the hardest part of all this. For every £50 I earn I'll write something new for the website, which might be a story, a meta-conversation, or something else.
