I just think that the talk of home depot developing conspiracies is just that - conspiracy theories. Sure, it's remarkably convenient, and there definitely ought to be an inquiry, but I think people are jumping on the bandwagon simply because it makes for a very fitting solution for most lefty Queen Westers out there.
People want someone to blame when tragedy happens, it's easier to blame someone than just think that sometimes shitty things happen for no good reason, and not because of any specific evil culprit.
Might as well blame Satan, it makes for the same "feel better" result, IMO. I"m not saying don't investigate, but there are far too many people that are CERTAIN that corporate foul play is at hand. As far as I'm concerned, I'm sick to death of hearing the conspiracies until someone has any actual proof of arson, or that corporate foul play was at hand.

I suppose what i responded to was the press blaming it on evil drug pushers without a shred of evidence (an accusation already dismissed), but more finger pointing is pointless at this juncture. I can only say that due to my families experience in the USSR I'm predisposed to suspect authority, especially when money is involved. Either way, I'll be interested to see what goes up after the dust settles
