THREAD ; off to a new start
Characters: Sheifa (misfittingly) & Albel (shining_nox).
When: SD 773, in that universe that should have been. AKA what if Sheifa had gone back with Albel to Elicoor after Econtra?
Where: Castle Airyglyph.
Summary: Sheifa's presence on Elicoor is unexpected and has to be explained, so Count Woltar comes up with a brilliant idea: have her pose as his orphaned niece, Cecilia. Now she's preparing to leave for Kirlsa to hide away for the time being and establish her identity.

She didn't expect they would be parting ways so soon.
But it had to be done. There was no other way to explain who she was - except Shelby's wonderful idea that she be labeled as an Aquarian spy and thrown into prison. And with Maria not arriving on Elicoor in two weeks' time, there wasn't anyone else who could explain (and believably so) their predicament. So they had to play along Count Woltar's little game; it was for the best, anyway.
It wasn't hard to prepare for the trip. She only had very few belongings with her. "I guess I'm set," she told Albel, standing up and facing him. "See you in two weeks, angel."
