For those who talked to me earlier about it, it seems like the scientists actually granted half of my request. I was surprised that I got that much after everything I heard about it.

Also, I understand that some of you wanted to speak with me after talking to Master Eirin? T-though I'm not sure why, I'm not particularly ( Read more... )

I've never learned Russian very well. It always made my head hurt. [Sneeze.]

I have a 'cold'. I am not cold, nor am I feverish, so I don't see why everyone calls it a cold. But it is apparently a 'cold'.

It was mandatory for me to learn while I lived on the moon...

The English language is kind of strange in how one word has multiple meanings...

English is weird, yes. I like French better, but not many people speak French here.

[She wheezes again, and a thought occurs to her.]

...is there a moon person? Like the nation-people, but with the moon?

I'm used to Japanese myself.

Ah... do you mean Lunarians?

No, I mean like Denmark. And Prussia, and France. They're people...but a cou--[sneeze]--ntry, at the same time.

I don't really get it either. [She sniffles.] But if one gets annexed by another one their arm becomes...whatever nation is occupying them at the time. Prussia said Britain's arm has become Prussian before, for instance.

Try talking to one, or something. Except cover your ears around Denmark because he's loud.

So, uh... they're anthropomorphic representations of countries?

Maybe I'll avoid talking to Denmark, then...

[Sneeze.] I suppose.

Denmark woke me up from a perfectly good nap to ask how old I was. [She grumbles.]

So, is there a moon person?

He sounds ... unpleasant.

As far as I know, there's not anybody out there called "Moon".

He's weird. And just...Denmark. Denmark.

Oh. Well, the--

[A fit of coughing and sneezing and otherwise Not Speech Sounds interrupt her question. By the time Flandre is capable of communicating again she has either forgotten her question or rethought its relevance.]

...what does Lunarian sound like?

Ah....

Lunarian sounds like this.

*insert Lunarian here... probably sounds somewhat similar to japanese given that moon people have Japanese names, but different enough to be a different language*

[Flandre is listening quietly, though she can't help sniffling on occasion.]

It sounds like Mandarin Chinese. And Cantonese, and Japanese, and...something else.

[She smiles a bit.]

I bet Meiling would think it was a Chinese dialect.

I wonder if there's any connection to Earth's languages.

Meiling... the gatekeeper, right?
