The Slut question
What is the Diffrence between a slut and a woman who has had many lovers?
I will tell you the question just so you can laugh ... guys get all flustered when you ask this one:
Me: What is the diffrence between a "slut" and a woman who has had many lovers? I thought about it since I have had many lovers, but have rarely, if ever been accused of being a slut, yet other women I know and know of are so very much sluts though they have had fewer lovers

I have been accused of being a slut. its mainly because I have had many lovers. the main diff is that i do not sleep with someone just because, but because i want to, not so they'll like me or to get popular.
Me: A woman who choses to have lovers does it for the joy of it or the momnet of pleasure. A slut does it for other reasons. She wants to control or manipulate someone, revenge, or because she wants some intagable thing. IE, a slut fucks for an illusion of power, or at least that is my hypothisis
Kit: well, possibly for power...but i think the power bit falls under dom/sub relations. which E/everyone knows a sub is the actual one in power because she says when too far is too far. sluts fuck for stupid reasons.
Me: I am also of a mind that most sluts are essentially very damaged people who cannot get over something
Kit: hmmm... im damaged but not like that im just short bus special
Me: I am quite damaged myself, but I have moved past that. Give me an example of slut behaviour.
Kit: hmmm... girl wants to be more popular so she throws herself at the Quarterback of the football team, even though she cant stand him and he has bo and bad breath and has sex and kisses and tells to make sure everyone knows what she did
Me: So she did it for gain, the illusion of imagined popularity, we could also say that a slut behaviour would be cheating or abetting cheating.
Kit: yeah. for gain, but not for power. sluts cheat because they dont learn to like the person they are in a realtionship with. a woman with many lovers usually is simply in love or like with them all. and if a w.w.m.l is cheating, its usually because a) she got trapped, or b) has told her other lovers
Me: Or does a slut simply have less selfrespect or not like herself? perhaps a basic self loathing is at work?
Kit: yes self respect is likely a factor. however, it may be lack of confidence too. (i knew a circle of girls i would call sluts in HS)
Me: You could be on to something there, Perhaps a slut's motivation could be to reassure herself that she is worthy of lust since he does not feel worthy of more?
Kit: if he sleeps with me=i'm worth something
Me: Right, or I am better than she is because I screwed her man...? could that be the gist of it, a sort of sexual bullying or one upsmanship? What do you think people? What is the diffrence?
