A question for the reenactors
Hello all of my friends who know so many things it's scary I need information on an english country dance He says "drive the cold winter away" from playford (1st or second edition i think) i want to know what the men are doing in the chorus the first man why does he face partner at the start and which direction does he double back in... ie is he moving parallel or perpendicular to the ladies line and how does he end up in the back of the line... and how does he progress from twirling the second to last and last lady..."
