Damn, I bought that purse too soon. Now it's half price of the sale price. Crap.
The final campaign for my Copywriting class was today. Our product was GE Compact Fluorescent Spiral Light Bulbs. We had damn good stuff, but my partner spelled Spiral Sprial.. and we didn't realize it until the prof pointed it out in our presentation. Usually one mistake/typo means automatic F. So we were like CRAP! But my partner made a save and said that's OUR way of spelling it. Later he called us out of class and told us it was the best presentation so far and he thinks it's "A" quality. ("A" means professional, "B" means student work) He said since there was a typo he'd give us a "B" instead of the "F" he's warned us about. THEN he said if it was spelled wrong on ALL the ads, he would've taken the crap my partner told him about making Spiral SPRIAL on purpose.
Sucky it's both our faults. I should've edited it more closely. I already knew that she was bad at spelling but I still missed that damn word. I could also argue that if I had spelled it wrong.. we would've gotten an A. I wasn't mad at all at the time. I think I was worried about the next final. Now I'm relaxed, and I am sorta pissed b/c I would've liked to have a better chance of getting an A. It's had time to sink in, but I'm not mad at my partner at all. She is awesome. Hopefully my prof can settle for an "A-"

2nd internship opportunity- got the interview. didn't really want the job. didn't get it.
