the fray, yay!
The Fray is playing at Taste Addison Friday night and I am GOING! Woo! Glad I was listening to 102.9 this morning. I checked the Fray website and they are playing on May 11 at the Gypsy but it's sold out! Ha, I didn't even know or try to get those tickets.
Taste Addison is far away and will be very crowded.. but it's only $8 and they can't have a limit on tickets... or can they?
Yeah, went to the Battle of the Bands at UTA.. Man Factory was good. They've played with Local Color before. The rest of the bands were heavy metal... so they were.. really loud! Not my style so I left. Not before getting someone I know to pass out Cooper Coffee cards for me.
next step.. use a paint pen to write 15% off on those cards for finals weeks and pass 'em out. HOpe it gets ppl in, or the shop will close for the summer!
Wow, quiting my job was the best thing I ever did! I got over being scared of the UTA gym.. slightly. Imagine a buncha fit college kids plus my fat ass. I prolly make them feel good that they are in shape. I just stick to cardio + CABLE tv and maybe weights machines if no one's looking. Gyms are so NASTY and DIRTY. EW.
