New Years
Our New Years party seemed to be a great success. There was no drama, lots of drinking, and few pranks from the local teens. When the power was switched off, the immediate illumination of cell phones lighted the various rooms. It was sort of bizarre. Honestly, I was more amused by our power being briefly turned off then upset. Although, we now know that we need to get a pad lock for our outside fuse box. Pesky kids.
During the evening, we had Rock Band going (nonstop) in the family room, Munchin in the living room, a game of Scene It II in Geoff's back office, and of course, smoking out on the back patio. It was good times.
The next morning Casey (our chef in training) made french toast, eggs, and bacon. We decided that Casey and Mandy can spend the night whenever they want if we get breakfast the next morning! After breakfast, the group of overnighters all went to see Sweeny Todd. Totally awesome movie.
