The Good, The Bad, and The Wimpy!
As many of you may know, I went to Vancouver, WA for the weekend. However, before I left on Friday night, Geoff took me to see Blade II. Good film. It rates a 4/5 on M'Cori's movie scale. Oh, as a side note, the Time Machine was a 2/5. Not so good.
Getting back on track, I really enjoyed my small vacation at home. Saturday afternoon my parents and I played dominoes and watched movies. That evening my aunt, my uncle, my cousin, and her husband all came over for my early birthday dinner. My mom really out-did herself this time. She made Tacos, my favorite, and tons and tons of other goodies. Thanks Mom. :)
Sunday was very cool. My father took me out gliding at Hood River. The weather was perfect and the lift was phenomenal. At one point, around 5000ft, we were circling with a juvenile bald eagle. He was about 10ft off our wingtip, swooping in and out catching lift off our wing. Sometimes nature just floors me.
Anyway, we stayed up for about two hours and when we tried to come down, it took forever. The conditions were so good that we had to use the brakes aka spoilers in order to fall in altitude.
In conclusion, I will say this. I am such a WIMP! I threatened my father with the eject button if he even thought about doing any crazy maneuvers, such as flips, dives, etc. Amazingly enough and despite his jokes, he actually stayed true to his word. Thanks Dad.
