Being home is nice. Jogging around Capitol Hill is lovely, and may be my new pastime for the summer. Sitting in a hospital waiting room for hours on end is extremely recollective of last May, but the urgency isnt quite so strong.

These were the contents of my day.
With that, I leave you with my yearly installment of the things I learned this year.
1. Don't do two shows seimultaneously.
2. Don't do three shows seimultaneously.
3. It's not necessary to show up the grad students.
4. Some kinds of friendships don't work in the long run, unless you can ignore society.
5. Society can't be ignored. 
6. Nothing is worth staying awake for four days. 
7. You have the power to get people fired; use it wisely.
8. It is astonishing to see what underqualified people can actually be successful in this country. 
9. Go to concerts.
10. Nothing feels better than to go to a university that is BALLIN'. 
11. Candles should be burning always.
12. You don't have to be Jewish to roast a kickass Passover lamb.
13. Buy a fish. You'll feel much better about your lack of a love life.
14. Let your professor mix you a mojito.
15. Never skip a theme party.
16. Neoclassicism fuckin' OWNS.
17. Sometimes it's not nearly as good as you remembered.
18. Sometimes it's even better than you remembered. 
19. Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. 
20. One: cut a hole in the box.
21. Mariposa in el jardin son tan bonitas. Don il jardin les papillon sont sur bon.
