A note of thanks to everyone.

Dear friends and family,

I want to thank everyone for all their love, prayers, good wishes, candle lighting, and good thoughts. The love and prayers etc have really helped me heal. I am doing well except for some breathing issues. Prayers for my lung strength are appreciated. My walking time could be as long as six months in the future, but my Doctors think it will be less. All of the workers at University Hospital are wonderful if you ever have to go to a Hospital, they are great people.

This photo was taken by Kelly Holman the EEG tech.

So I hope you find it as funny as I did. She said that most people look like Frankenstein. David's response was Bride of Frankenstein which I guess makes him Frankenstein.

I have to do exercises with my legs and with a lung exerciser I call the puffer. You blow air into it to measure lung capacity and strength. You are supposed to get it up to 2000mL and I am onl up to 750mL. So, a bit to go yet, but I am working hard at it.

I am having some trouble eating because of the Lung issues, so prayers from any sort of denomination and good thoughts are appreciated.   I have always thought of myself as ecumenical, but I have decided to be a Catholic because my family. I want to dedicate myself to being closer to my entire family, immediate, extended, and all my friends that are part of my social family. I also want to extend thanks to all of those that have prayed for me even thouh they may not know me.

BK, the Cuocos, the nurse and eveyone who stopped and helped Al and I at the accident. You showed courage and great faith in humanity, and I hope that I can pay that back in the future.

I know that the hand of God was with me that Thursday because Al and I could easily have died. I am going to rededicate myself to my spiritual growth.

More later when David gets the laptop to me and the wireless working.
