I don't know where I was lest year when Bev Oda changed all the status of women mandate and made it so women's advocay groups can't get funding anymore, but CBC had a good show on its effects today. Basically they took 'equality' out of the mandate, and she said it would be better to put money into scholarships instead of shelters. Great, while you're taking that left hook to the head, why don't you apply for that scholarship so in like, 4 years you'll be able to get a better job, make money and THEN leave? Sighhhhh. I wonder if ol' Bev will be at the Take Back The Night March tonight to see all the 'equality' out there.
