Good day
Model show today in New Holland. No firsts, but a goodly number of seconds and below. Fun day-- it's held in the warehouse of a tack shop (I resisted the temptation to spend massive amounts of money. Why?) I did find a set of closed gaming reins in waxed nylon cord-- just the thing for my cousin's mother- in- law's pony, used by the grandkids. They're narrow enough for smaller hands and provide a good grip, and were Quite Cheap, more so than leather.
Going through one of the small towns on the way I saw a bit of landscaping I'd like to copy-- a hillock with ground- cover in a front yard had a small round green door set into one end, with a brass doorknob set in the middle. 'In a hole in the ground there dwelt a Hobbit....'
Did spend something on a good buffet on the way home; not expensive, either. Salad, fried chicken, etc. Still not hungry. yum.
