Spellchecker!Moony to the rescue!
And I cannot believe how many people have been making this mistake:
Lightning/Lightening:
1. Lightning: n - flashes of light seen in the sky when there is a discharge of atmospheric electricity in the clouds or between clouds and the earth, usually occuring during a thunderstorm. OR adj - very fast and often; very sudden.
2. Lightening: n - the process or time during late pregnancy when the foetal head begins to descend into the mother's pelvis resulting in a lessening of pressure on the diaphragm.
And if you don't believe me, then go and check in a dictionary: it's true, I promise you.
