Surprise, surprise - I am actually liking my cello today. I've got a lesson later this afternoon, though, which will take me away from my precious computer. *Mourns*.
In other news, I've come across some rather annoying spelling/grammar mistakes recently, which I must correct. Immediately.
1. till/'til - a till is something that a shopkeeper keeps their money in (eg. She took the money from the customer, and opened the till to put it away.). 'Til is an abbreviated form of the word until, and should be spelt as such, and have an apostrophe in front of it (eg. Nothing happened 'til dawn.).
2. round/'round - a circle is round, as is a roundabout. (eg. The circle was round.). 'Round is an abbreviated form of the word around, and should therefore have an apostrophe. It should also be followed in most cases by the word to (eg. "I'm going 'round to my friend's house.").
3. gotten - (and this is for those people who claim to know British English, because I've never looked at an American dictionary) gotten is Not A Word In The English Language. Check your dictionaries; it's not there. Instead, use the word got (eg. It's gotten lost should be phrased It's got lost.).
4. hey/hay - hay is dried grass that is gathered up and fed to animals (eg. I picked up the bale of hay and put it in the stable.). Hey is an exclamation used to get someone's attention (eg. "Hey, you!" or "Hey, police, police! He's running away with my hay!").
5. waist/waste - a person's waist can be found beneath their ribs and above their hips (eg. Her hair came down to her waist.). The word waste usually means "litter", and often refers to poo (eg. His bodily waste was flushed down the toilet, or The waste products of respiration are carbon dioxide and nitrogen, or even Never waste good food.).
