「Who are you? じらしたがるね」
I haven't updated in ages but well, I want to get back in the habit. Even if just to stop me spamming my twitter with useless crap and thoughts and whatever.
I probably should write down that's happened since I last made a post but tbh I can't be bothered and can't really remember :'D But in more recent news, almost exactly 4 years since I started Pottermore, I finished the last book the other day ;; It's kind of sad but what can you do. And seem they're going to be somewhat changing the site anyway (at least, they won't be doing the House Cup anymore), I suspect expanding to include (future) Fantastic Beasts stuff? idk. Will have to wait and see.
Hmm, that aside, pretty much the only thing taking up my life recently has been tottsu's hirudora... I really wish someone else was watching it so I could flail but there's hardly any dls even so ;; I know 2ch thinks it's shit but I really like it! And tomorrow is totally when Ryo's (tottsu) story becomes clear and asldknaksjfbahdbs /o\ I want to flailllllllll, sobs. But I can't even do that without spoilers but ;;
I should translate more about it but :/ I swing between "I should do this so more people can know!" and "fuck fandom, no one gives any appreciation for effort anymore" :x But I will eventually do the longer episode summaries (like I did for cherries), even if it ends up only being for myself. I guess I could sub it (and THEN people would probably care to watch u_u) but I'm missing the text for a few of the eps so >_< Also time. Even if the eps are only 22min, there's still (going to be) 40 of them and just... impossible :x
BUT today my copy of DaVinci arrived and tottsu's essay is about kiriko \o/ And I will translate it! ...after tomorrow because I'm not sure if there's not spoilers in his essay :'D but I want to do it. There's also another interview in there with tottsu which I think relates to kiriko, too :D (I also have a TV Pia with an interview, that one should be safer :/a but it's further down the list. Had cute pics of tottsu/hasshi on set though :D).
And I know there's someone who already translates tottsu's essays but >_> idk what to think of someone who asks for corrections but then doesn't fix things when you point out mistakes (in fact, once she told me she'd mistranslated something on purpose, because she thought it sounded funnier. wtf?!). So I kind of stopped reading her translations... Actually, I started doing tottsu's first essay not long after it came out, but kind of stopped halfway because I wasn't sure enough of my japanese back then, and didn't have anyone to proofread it for me either. And then when someone else started posting them I thought what's the point, people would probably just accuse me of copying or something anyway (bc I'm a no1curr) and left it sitting in my gdocs ever since. But I'm still going to do his essays for myself anyway, eventually. Because I like reading tottsu's words.
But yeah, I really want to do this kiriko one. I should probably work on any of the other smaller things I have sitting around to be translated too (ebi's old serial from yomiuri shimbun, for a start...) but I'm just so wrapped up on kiriko everything lately... I haven't even missed a single ep realtime /xD\ (including the one day we didn't have internet, I streamed it on my phone using my data. Which worked surprisingly well, I think my 2bars of 3G worked faster than our supposed ADSL :'D) I mean I can see why people (2ch, or even my jtlist...) think it's boring or whatever but... it's a hirudora. Haven't they ever watched one before? xD;;; Kiriko makes way more sense than Tengoku no Koi did, lmao (that's the one Uchi/Takasho were in, btw. I swear everyone in that drama was crazy, omg). Speaking of, I still need to finish that... maybe after kiriko. It can keep me in my routine... and I'm only up to like ep 14 of 45, so that will last a while xD;;;
...I have so many dramas and things I need to finish :x
But I think this is more than enough rambling for one day ^^; What a wall of text, I'm sorry orz
PS: obviously I'm SUPER excited about ebi's single \o/ but that's probably a topic for another post xD;;
