No but srsly, devo much. I love the Melbourne Cup, heck the 1st tuesday in November means much more to me than most (if not all) other days in the year ._.
No real reason, other than I like horses, and love the history of the Cup :3 I have a list of *all* the past winners xD;;;
(for the record, I've never ever bet, not even done a sweep… I just pick a horse and cheer for them

Coz y'see, back in 1860, it was a horse from here in Nowra that won the first ever (and then the 2nd as well!) Melbourne Cup. The horse was called Archer, btw ^^

Booooo I want to say we could watch it in class (I mean, my tuesday classes are awesome anyhow usually xD) but idk how we can. Probably can't even watch it online (DET blocks pretty much any useful site wth) but even so, the computers don't have speakers.
So yeah… I haven't missed the cup in quite a few years (not since I had a freaking EXAM once during that afternoon, thanks a bunch UoW ¬.¬) so it makes me sad ;o;
