Most awesome weekend ever?! 8D;;
Well, close to it if it wasn't, lol (I think BLOOD was still my most amazing memory ♥)
Travelling aside (it really wasn't too bad, apart from being a waste of a day) it was awesome, anyway. But, I really don't get Melbourne's transport system... and I thought ours was messed up but at least it's easy to understand, lol. Anyway, transport woes are neither here nor there in regards to the live, so moving on.
Long story short version for Melbourne (I'll do proper ones soon, promise... and I'm getting hundreds of pics (and some videos) off my camera as we speak ^^)
- thought I was late coz I had nfi where I was going, but when I eventually got there (by cab, coz I couldn't work out trams...) SISeN hadn't even started, so it was all good. And the cloakroom was cheaper than at the Factory, lol.
- overall pretty similar to Sydney, but bigger crowd (more goths, lol) ...though, it could have just seemed like that since the venue was a little smaller
- however, Melbourne didn't really seem that into SiSeN... naww D: I know not every is into that kind of club scene and dancing and whatever, but you guys could have just randomly screamed or something, like Sydney did xD;; But it eventually got going a little, so I guess it was ok
Besides, how can you not scream at SiSeN?! He's so freaking cute! I want to keep him *cough*
- his dancers... the chick didn't seem very into it, she looked the part but she made dancing seem like a chore or something, idk ¬.¬
and the other one.... I thought was a really butch chick (...what?), until I got a glimpse up the skirt (which kept riding up, hard to avoid really xD) and... yeah ¦D;;; but, on his/her myspace it says female.... colour me confused. If it's not a man now, it was once ¬.¬ Anyway, they were far more into it than the other chick, and looked like they were having the time of their life xD;;
- GPKISM got going more though... though maybe more since Ken is from Melbourne? idk. But hey, I got to take pics this time, so I made the most of it 8D;; pity my view wasn't as good as it was in Sydney *grumbles* but I think it's still ok
- and I videod Kiwamu's story about his guitar... coz well, I don't know xD I like the way he speaks, it's cute? ¦D;;
- I still love watching Ken perform <3 But it's harder to get into it when you're trying to take nice pics... so.. I guess I'm glad that we couldn't take photos in Syd, coz then I could focus on having fun more :D not that I didn't have fun in Melb... I was just having fun taking pictures and singing, instead of dancing so much xD;;
- SiSeN and his dancers came on for Abaddon again... no trying to be aussie from SiSeN this time though xD Though Ken did make us do a couple of rounds of "Aussie Aussie Aussie" at one point, to show how Aussies party xD;; For who's benefit, I'm not really sure... but meh. You hear "Aussie", you reply "Oi"... it's automatic, ne? xD
- they signed things after their live again... I got the other BLOOD cds I didn't have (Les Fleurs du Mal and BLOOD Integral Edition?) and a GPKISM shirt... Ai served me again xD;;; She's so cute~ She asked me what size shirt I wanted, S or M *snickers immaturely* and I was like "uh..." coz I didn't really know what the sizing was like, y'know? And she was like "hmmm...." when Kiwamu leaned over and said "Small." We looked at him, and he repeated... so I got the small. And wouldn't you know, it fits like a freaking glove 8D *is wearing now, just coz...* Go Kiwamu! Awesome guessing power xD;;; lol~
But yeah, and I got the Seileen poster (since I got the GPKISM one in Syd) and Kiwamu prodded SiSeN to sign it (rather lazily... he was already drinking at this point, too xD though, he was definitely worse for wear in Sydney, he didn't seem too bad in Melbourne, lol). And I got him to sign the Seileen cd too :D
And Kiwamu signed all my BLOOD cds (for the last time *sigh*) and I regret not thinking to bring Lost Sky for him to sign too... oh well. And I'd also brought my (already owned) copies of Atheos and Illuminatum, which Ken and Kiwamu happily signed for me :D Ken said I'm lucky to have Illuminatum (or to get it signed? Now I think, he could have meant either xD) since it's completely sold out, now x3;;; ufufu~ I did say I ordered it when it came out, but he still said I was lucky xD;;
- but yeah... oh, and Kiwamu's mood was much nicer (happier?) in Melbourne... maybe it was from alcohol, I saw him drink a beer, lol. For some reason, I always thought Kiwamu didn't drink... guess I was wrong xD
- Aural Vampire started... and I was waaaaay at the back. I kinda found a half decent spot on Exo-Chika's side and managed a few good pics (maybe). Won't really know 'til I look at them xD but yeah, Melbourne pics of AV are from much further way xD;;; the crowd was pretty big, and pretty into it, mostly. Kinda like SiSeN it's not really my music... but it's not bad, and it certainly is good to watch them perform ^^ And in Melbourne, they had a screen behind them that was playing PVs (if there was one) or videos for the songs, sometimes with the words too. that was pretty cool ^^
- after they finished (late, of course... Sydney wasn't on time, neither was Melbourne xDD) more signings... I missed out on AV coz everyone was kinda crowding them and then they were gone D: So, I never got to give them the pic I did... but I asked Ai to give it to them, and she told Kohta (I'm sure it was him, even if he had a mask on... I swear I saw him in Syd too! And it wasn't Aki, so....) to give it to them, so I guess he did... I'll never know ^^;
- while the fuss over AV was going on, Kiwamu was just kinda standing there at the merch table with Ai (Ken went AWOL for a bit xDD and SiSeN constantly did, lol) so I decided to give him his pic... Ai was like "aww it's cute!" and Kiwamu just pointed to the guitar (I'd drawn chibi Kiwamu holding his old blue one, of course) and said "but this one is broken now..." (y'know, I really wish I could write Kiwamu's accent... it's cute. He just kind of pauses a lot, and... yeah. Anyway ¬.¬;;) so I pointed out "but it wasn't when I drew that D:" (it was when I coloured it, and I knew... but I didn't say that xD). And I asked him if I could get a photo with him (since Ken was still AWOL) and he said yes, so Ai took one for me... Kiwamu held the picture in it, lol. And I look gay coz my hair was in my face, but I'd been trying to get Kiwamu's wig out of my face! xD;; It's not too bad really, I guess, lol. I really want to give that man some expression though, jesus xDD
- Ken eventually resurfaced from somewhere (sometime while he was gone, Ai had climbed up in the chair (she's so tiny!) and yelled out "GPK Where are you~?" xD;; but, that didn't really work, lol. It was cute, though x3;;) and so did SiSeN (though he was talking to his dancers) so I gave Ken his pic, and he said it looks like him xD (and Ai was like "awww cute~" again, lol) and SiSeN came back while Ken was holding it up and looking at it, so he videod it with his camera, and then sort of panned across me (so I'll probably be in a SiSeN video all "eh?" if he uploads it, joy xDD) and went back to his dancers, lol. But I got a photo with Ken too... Actually I must've got that before the video bit, coz SiSeN took the pic (Kiwamu and Ai were fiddling with the merch) xD and he held the pic in it too... aah, the chibis are famous xD
um... to cut the shorter story shorter (since it's not so short anymore? xD;;) SiSeN buggered off again before I could give him his pic and a little plushie kangaroo (holding an aussie flag, of course) that I'd got him since it was his first time here, So i just hung about near the merch table while Ai tried to spot him for me (pretty much everyone had gone, and they were packing up shit). She did see and called to him (in japanese, something along the lines of "oi, we've got stuff for you, come here" I think... I got to practice some jap this weekend, bahaha) but he didn't hear... but Ken came back and chatted for a bit... about random stuff xD;; He complimented my art <333 He said it was good, and I was like "nkajnkjdf but yours is so amazing D:" (ok, far more eloquently than that, but you get the idea xD) and yeah xD;;
Anyway, we talked for a bit while Ai was packing up and then Ken said he had to go "transform" *snorts* (ie, get changed xD Kiwamu had already buggered off ages before, lol) so he had to go... but he told me to keep in touch :D like, on myspace or whatever... he doesn't reply to things so much anymore since they're so busy (I still swear Kiwamu can't have time to sleep) but he tries. But yeah, I said I would (duh!) and he gave me a hug >w< and then...w e were back to wondering wtf SiSeN was ¦D;;;
Ai ended up saying to me "come with me!" and taking me towards the backstage part, where we finally cornered him as he was coming out, lol. So I gave him the picture (more "kawaii~" from Ai xD) and the kangaroo (he was like, "oh! Kangaroo~ :D" it was so cute~) and I got a picture with him (yay! finally xD) and then we had to take one on his camera so... now I'll probably end up in his pics too, go me xD;; and yeah, I said I hope he comes back (maybe with TD?) and he said I should come to Japan to see Tokyo Decadence xD Which I want to! But, it'd be easier if they came to me, lol.
Anyway, Back at the merch table I thanked Ai for all her help (coz she really did sort of go out of her way ♥ a very big どうもありがとうございました〜) and she said she hopes to see me again next time (...always a good sign? yay~ though, Ken was like "oh we'll be back! :D" to someone earlier, lol), and I hope so too :D She really was sweet. I kind of wished I'd taken a picture with her too... ah, next time ;3
I'll draw her something too, since she kept saying how cute my chibi's were ^^
And Kiwamu is going to get another one too (hell, I'll even send it to him xD) since the only thing he could fault was the guitar... I'll just draw one of his new outfit + guitar for him ;P
Speaking of outfits... did I ever mention Ken has a new skirt? It reminds me of something Ryonai might wear (thought not half as gigantic), so maybe that was his idea? I mean, Ken's outfit is always changing, just little things... it still has the same base as when he started, but he keeps adding/subtracting stuff... yeah. I'm weird to notice fine details xD;;; *totally not obsessed*
Anyway. The not-so-short short version of Melbourne *fails*

- bigger crowd, but didn't seem as into it (except for AV)
- more Kiwamu trying to pull the sympathy vote with his guitar story xD;;
- we could take pics of GPKISM, yay~
- I got to talk to Ken for a while, and he not only said my art was good (which means a lot to me, since he's an artist himself ne?) but told me to keep in touch
- SiSeN told me to go to Japan and see TD
- Ai is so cute and helpful!
...I dunno. I really need to get the long version done, coz... I like talking? ¦D;;; Fear it, really. lol~ you have been warned xD
