(no subject)
Well... if I go to Melbourne now, it's going to be by train... since a single (one way) flight from Sydney to Melbourne on saturday will cost at least $150... but a return train trip is about $130 ¬.¬;;;
Downside is, while planes take 1.5hrs.... the XPT train takes 11hrs D: so... damn that's going to be a boring trip. Even my PSP doesn't have batteries that last that long, and there's no way I can charge anything in Melbourne anyway, so... yeah ._. Guess I should find a good book or two... waaaah I want my music ;o;
Oh, plus the XPT gets to Melbourne at about 7pm, and according to the website of the venue the doors open at 8pm. Awesome *cough* And I dunno how I'll get there, other than finding the appropriate tram (which to catch I think I need to go from Southern Cross station to Swanson St...?), or getting a taxi (which I've never done before, so.... yeah...)
Ah well, worst that can happen is I'd miss some of SiSeN (assumably), right? ._.;;
So that's kinda gay. and hopefully there's somewhere to hang out at Southern Cross railway station, coz I'll be hanging there the night after the concert... no point booking somewhere to stay, since I'd have to leave the crack of dawn anyway (well... 8.30am) and lets face it, I can sleep on the bloody train, since it'll take all day to get back to Sydney.

I whinge a lot, I know. But, I've never travelled further than Sydney by myself and I don't know much about Melbourne ^^; I suppose instead of sitting in the station all night I could catch the skybus thing or something to the airport and use internet (they have everywhere internet there, lulz! It had to be useful for somewhere other than uni... xD) and then catch the bus back to the station in the morning xD;;;
Anyway... I really should make a start on the giftart... yeah, haven't started that. I'm so unorganised... and have like, no inspiration ;o; And I don't have my good paper so I can't colour anything, just draw it and transfer to good paper when I get back to the 'gong... so much for the "not staying up the night before" *sigh* I suppose at least since there's no meet & greets, I don't need to go to the city so early. If not for wanting to go to Kino (need more manga...) then I probably wouldn't go at all, and would just go straight to Sydenham.
Anyway... best make a start ¬.¬ not like I can sleep anyway, my inner clock os so messed up xD;;;;
Oh yeah. And a big F.U. to Centrelink, coz I have a stupid interview thing on thursday morning which has messed with my plans of going back to the 'gong earlier in the week to get stuff done. I thought last time the dude took me off the list for interviews... fucker. If they tell me the same shit as last time ("oh, you know you can earn up to $X and still get centrelink, right? even though you're a full time student with no real extra time, and there's no jobs to get these days" ¬.¬;;;) then I will be pissed.

[ETA]: meh, I just booked the train tix... I'm in seat E/65 on the way down and E/29 on the way back... care to shed some light on my seats for me Jess? Since you're such an expert and all xD;;;;; I know they're probably crap, but eh... I'm cheap. I'll take what I can get. I'll probably sleep/read anyway
