So... first day of uni wasn't so bad. Jess picked me up after dropping EJ at work, so I didn't have to walk (and then I hung around for a bit 'til she finished class, so I didn't have to walk home either xD Yay for mooching rides! :D) and pretty much, I can get a ride every monday, coz we have class together xDD woo~ *lazy*
On the other hand though... 203 is deathly boring (algorithms.... BAH) but meh. Jo is a pretty cool lecturer though. She's this awesome little portuguese woman xD (who has an accent, but not a strong one, unlike all the asian lecturers...) I haven't had her since first year, lmao.
Also, me & Jess found out that we don't have to declare a major, so yay for that! No extra subjects for me xD Just gotta fulfil the core requirements and I'm good. As such, I need one more 300-level subject, so... blah. I can't really do any for anything other than compsci coz of pre-reqs and all that shit so... yeah. But even then, I wanted one for spring (coz I don't have enough subjects, since I can't do japa262...) but they're all crap, hard, I've already done them, or they need pre-reqs I haven't done. So... I decided to do 336 again (failed it last year, lulz) now in autumn, and had to drop IACT201 (which I don't need, but it was apparently easy...) since it wouldn't let me enrol in more than 32cp in a session.
Life wasn't meant to be easy xD At least now I don't have that iact tute on a friday arvo? Instead I have a slightly earlier 336 lecture. But at least it doesn't clash with japa! ¦D;;; *still needs to sort out ling210 tute...*
Jesus I hate sorting subjects ¬.¬ I think tomorrow I'm gonna double check the number of credit points I have/need, just in case. Gah.
Anyway~! Moving on xD I finally got my WUSA planner so I can write up what I'm doing this year, and be able to see it all at once, w00t! So, I was looking up when all the anime cons are and such... SMASH is over 2 days this year (which doesn't change the fact it's a bitch to get to.... damn UNSW... but at least it's like, way cheaper than all the others xD). And I was checking up on Supanova, seeing what guests are announced... they're focussing on Melb/Bris first (since they're pretty soon) but they have announced some for Sydney.
Oi, Jess. Guess what? You might want to go.... Coz the VAs... well... I know you don't watch Fruits Basket in english, but.... guess which VA who voices a certain character in FB is happening to be coming to Sydney? 8D
Oh yeah, there's Yuri Lowenthal, too. Which I'm sure you'll spazz your panties off about when you read this, since I doubt you'd know already xD;;;
Plus, they've got the guy who voiced Shinji in Evangelion. I don't know whether to laugh, or be impressed, or what xDD Keeping in mind I've only seen End of Evangelion, so... I have warped images of Shinji, lmfao. that movie was.... so wtf I wouldn't even know where to begin o.O;;;
Sad thing is, I had to google all the VAs to see what they're in, bahahaha. Coz I know the names but can never remember.
And, I'm pissed that Vic Mignogna is going to Bris/Melb but not Syd D: Viiiiiic come back dammit ;o; He gave awesome hugs...... and kisses xDDD plus, if it wasn't for Vic... well, if it wasn't for standing in line to see Vic (which took ages coz he was eating lunch, haha) then I wouldn't have ever met my most precious Shou-kun <333 ^^
Haha just realised my Tamaki icon is kinda appropriate. I don't have many anime icons atm xD But I'm all "whut :D" about who's coming to Sydnova, and definitely "whut D:" that Vic isn't... and Vic is Tamaki xD;;; IT FITS OMG. Subconscious choice ftw :'D;;;
Rawr. Anyway.... oh yeah, prepare for b'day spam this month... March is a very popular apparently (and rightly so! Best month and all 8D) I swear, there's nearly a jrocker (or two) a day.... and quite a lot of my friends, too xD
I 'spose I should go to bed..... though, I don't have class 'til lunchtime, ufufu~ (and then a 2hr gap until my next one *sigh* oh well... guess I can try and find somewhere quiet to sit and draw or something, idk) though I should get up and do stuff, instead of sleeping ._. like, email whoever the heck it is about my ling tute. I don't want to, but... I've got to, really. Blah.
