Work
Well, it's back to school in just twelve days. And in the meantime, I'm working. A lot. I went from being completely unscheduled the last two weeks (someone told the manager I had already left) to picking up shifts left and right. I've also been watching Monarch of the Glen. At least, all of the episodes that are already on DVD. Suddenly, today, the two of them combined when I realized how much my manager Tom looks like Hamish Clark (who plays "Duncan" on Monarch of the Glen). Now every time I see him, I think of that and it makes me smile. They even walk the same. Besides working and watching a lot of tv, I'm trying to enjoy the last few weeks of summer by doing, you know, summer-type stuff. I got a kayak on Saturday, and went to the beach yesterday with Jake, Colin, and Tyler, and had a medium-fun time paddling in the pond. And, of course, I've been spending time with my friends, which is awesome, cause I won't be seeing them in a few weeks. And poo to everyone who's already gone and stuff.
