So after my long day of classes (including a physics test), I decided to give blood for the blood drive here at school. Everything was going pretty good, until the bag got close to being full and the blood stopped coming out of my arm. It seemed like it would take forever to fill up the tiny amount left in the bag. But after I finally got it, they had to fill up those little tubes, and it stopped again. By the way, I was the last person there, and they were trying to pack everything up. They probably wanted me to go faster, but I couldn't. So I had one guy holding the vial onto the tube, and another guy moving the needle around in my arm, which wasn't very pleasant, and they got what they needed. But I fainted. Too much thinking about the pain in my arm, the needle in my vein. The guy was like "how are you feeling?" and I was like "NOT GOOD." Then I closed my eyes. I slightly remember them telling me not to close my eyes, and to hold the gauze on my arm, but I just couldn't. All of a sudden, I couldn't move. It was so weird. I think I'm majorly dehydrated now, drinking some water, but I feel like I'm going to faint again when I stand up. Very lightheaded. I watched Love Actually with my friend Jon then afterwards I felt drunk when I was walking back to my apartment. This sucks.
Anyway, the nurses told me to get plenty of rest, and I'm not even supposed to be out of bed, but I'm waiting for 42 songs I bought from Itunes to download. Right now it's on 19 out of 42. Then there's more after that that I want (don't worry, I didn't just spend $42 on songs, I bought the albums--it's way cheaper). Sufjan Stevens. Definitely my new hero. Songs like "They are night zombies! They are neighbors! They have come back from the dead!! Ahhhhh!!!!" Yup. What a great title. Reminds me of the good old days in winnipeg when the tribespeople played that song called "you cross the river that way, and I'll cross the river this way, then we will spend hours hunting then we will lie in the grass and take a long nap..." or something to that effect. You get the picture. Anyway, my arm hurts from typing, so I think I'm going to lay down until it's all done.
