The Cast of the Avatar Movie

This blog pretty much sums up the way I feel about the casting the the Avatar movie. Since this blog was posted Jesse McCartney,who was originally cast as Zuko, dropped out of the movie and was replaced by Dev Patel from Slumdog Million. Dev is a great actor, but he's Indian and Zuko is clearly East Asian.
On a side note I also learned the other day that Keanu Reeves will playing Spike Spiegel in a live action version of Cowboy Bebop which is set to be released in 2011. Spike is 27 and Keanu will be nearly 50 when the film is released. There's also going to be a new live action version of Death Note. The cast will undoubtedly be white.
When will Hollywood learn that live action anime does not work?
