1) I used to favor the hard stuff over beer, but now it's the other way around.
2) At the beginning of this semester, I hooked up with a freshman on my floor, and now none of my friends here will let me forget it.
3) I tend to live in the past more than is probably healthy, but sometimes I like it better that way--remember when things were simpler. Or so I thought.
4) I took piano lessons for seven years and I can't play a single piece of music from memory, except for Heart and Soul and Ode to Joy.
5) The menu button on my iPod is broken, so I'm stuck on shuffle until I get get the fucks at the Apple Store to fix it.
6) I could happily live on bread and water. For serious.
7) I have little to no fashion sense, despite how hard I try.
8) I am a much more sexual being than I might seem.
9) I love going to concerts because I love live music, and I try to get to one a month, but I'm not having much luck right now.
10) The first time I smoked pot was the spring of my senior year. The first time I got drunk was the month before I came to college.
11) I have never skipped a college class simply because I "didn't feel like it." The only times I've missed have been when I overslept (once), when I was sick, and when I was at my grandmother's funeral.
12) After six years of French, I barely remember anything. This embarrasses me when Mr. Defaa tries to talk to me, because I don't want to admit that I suck.
13) I love to sing when I'm by myself, especially in the car, but whenever there are people around I'm too self-conscious.
14) When I grow up, I want to get married, but I really don't think I want kids, because I think I'll be a horrible mother. Instead, I want, like, five gigantic dogs.
15) My favorite flowers are tiger lilies, daisies, sunflowers...really anything but traditional roses and carnations. That's boring.
16) I check my email upwards of fifteen times per day, usually just out of boredom.
17) When I was little, I used to eat salt and colored sprinkles by the handful, but not at the same time.
18) My first pet was a Goldfish named Pinky. My sister had one named Snowball, and she used to lock herself in the bathroom to play with them. Needless to say, Pinky and Snowball didn't live very long.
19) My parents have a home video of a four-year-old me cleaning my toys in the bathroom sink. When my uncle came in to help me, I screamed at him and stamped my feet until he left. Then I finished up and stomped upstairs. This is the earliest evidence we have that 1) I have always been compulsively, neurotically neat and 2) I hate when people tell me how to do things.
20) I have a really shitty sense of direction, but my theory is this: When you're driving with directions and you're unsure of where you are and you think you might be going the wrong way, keep going straight, because you'll more than likely end up right where you need to be.
You're it.
