ratchethinsky... i like it
i'm not even going to go into description about the trip... suffice to say i was sick the whole time, but it would have been an awesome trip had i not been. i have tuberculosis! how utterly exciting! (actually i probably don't, but i have the coughing-up-blood symptom...) i left with a runny nose and a sore throat and came back with a stuffed up nose, sore throat, racking cough, ear infection, and ripped pillowcase. valerie came back with a totally different change, though... :)
i have to go to work tomorrow... i guess to keep myself from getting kicked out, i'll tell them i just have allergies... (i feel bad though!) but it probably IS allergies... and i'm high on cough medicine so i probably won't be coughing anyway. so.
right now money is swirling around my head. what to do with my first paycheck of 2 this summer. it will be precisely $180, and things i desire at the moment are:
* a new digital camera of my very own (our family one is crazily protected by my anal father, who always freaks out when i want to take it places... it's old too)
* tennis shoes. i own no athletic shoes and i've been wearing marcy's 5 year old nikes around since last summer... so i think shoes would be a wise investment.
* a drum set... but this will have to wait for the next paycheck. my dad has a friend who owns a mint condition 5-piece that he's willing to let go for $150. awesome!
* portable dvd player... but this is a maybe. this would also require about 2 months allowance, because cameras i want are about 70, plus the shoes which will be like 50, plus the drum set for 150, which equals $270, which is the first paycheck and about half of the second... and the players run about 130...
* dvds of casablanca, singin in the rain, gone with the wind, lord of the rings, star wars, etc.
* 3rd relient k cd, coldplay cd, big daddy weave cd, goo goo dolls, new incubus cd... etc.
sure you wanted to know all that! i was actually typing for myself also... so thanks, journal. thanks for everything you do for distressed little me.
i'm going to go back to bed. i've been up a total of 4 hours today. i'm still wearing my pajamas. this is the first time in my life that i've work my pajamas all day! i feel like such a slob! oh well... at least my tuberculosis is getting better...
