the continuing saga of tracy's life
so i left off the last episode with me not knowing whether to go to delia's or garage sales... and we ended up going to delia's... they didn't have the skirt(POO!) but i got 2 shirts and a cool belt (to go with the skirt- i'll just order it out of the catalog.) but i DID try on this other white mini-skirt (it really wasn't that short- longer than fingertip!) and it made me look really cute! this made me very happy. i looked tan and thin. this made me happy too! i can't wait til summer when i can wear cool clothes and hang out with cool people outside.
so yeah... saturday. went to kathryn's. went shopping. then went home, had a crying fit with my dad, remembered huge english project due monday, worked frantically, then the carnival. ooooh, the carnival. i must detail.
my father works at a catholic school, st. monica's, way far away. it is their 50th anniversary. we went. it was amazing! so perfect. they had this HUGE tent (i mean 3 stories tall, as big as a football field) set up, lights inside and fans and everything... very soft grass, children playing all around, catered food, fellowship... it was perfect. just like a movie. a really good live band that played, while i was standing near, "sweet home alabama" and the some with "i had a barbecue stain on my white t-shirt..." and soo many people. everyone was enjoying themselves. it was wonderful. i totally felt like i was in a movie.
then i stayed up till 2 working on fortner english stuff... curled my hair, went to bed.
then SENIOR DAY at church! yay! which means being there at 8:30... my sausage balls ran out! yay! (this means they were good.) then the youth picnic... (watching peyton and gabby for an hour and a half, swinging really high[ly], climbing on various playground stuff, etc. then baccalaureate at BA, where i did tech... fun! then home for 5 minutes, then babysitting (by this time i was extremely tired...), then finally, getting home at 7:45 after seeing sarah at val's! her hair looks soooo cool! i wish i were brave enough to do something cool to my hair. but, alas, i am not.
today was very tiring, and i still have to do some more fortner junk. test tomorrow! :-)
i love you so much, vanessa! and believe me-- live WILL go on. with or without jimmy. i'm thinking about you and i can't wait until you find someone better than jimmy to make you happy! until then... reruns?
i know you-- i walked with you once upon a dream!
speaking of dreams... i had an extremely weird one which included me in a relationship with someone i had NEVER considered *dating material* before... but it really worked out in my dream! it was pretty cool. and i think it would work out in real life too, but i wouldn't ever risk it.
back ot the guy i like (not the one discussed above) at school. yes... he is grand. very handsome also. and i have a MOVIE MOMENT with him the other day! it was hilarious in its own way. i got to be the caring, protective woman and he was the feebly, injured man. i know he loved it just as much as i did!
anthony, we really need to hang out! starting friday, i get out at 12:30... so let's do something! ON FRIDAY! like late lunch or something! i need to see you!
