Murmurs of Change

Like the wind that changes its course
Like the sails that let the wind take it away
Let your heart show its force
Let it take you on a runaway.
To the ends of every corner
To every door in your heart
Seeking answers as you dig deeper
Unlocking the rut,
enroute to a brand new start.
There's no need for people to understand
Your way of your working
You make things stand
And failing doesn't mean weakening.
I did not see you pretend
I did not see you tryin´
But I saw you, the last 2 weekend
Normal again as you are, deep within.

I sit all alone
in my room.
Not understanding......
I want them to love me
for my heart and soul.
But selfishly inside
I want them to admire
My outside appearance too.
They will never understand
the way I see myself.
It is not what I want;
I need something more.
But no matter what I do;
how I try to change
my looks on the outside.
They can still see
it is just plain old me
pretending again.
I feel a twinge
deep inside my heart.
And hear a still small voice
whisper in sweetness,
'look inside first'.
And I ponder for a moment
wondering what it could mean
and I realize...
Before I can change
the outside appearances
I must Change The Inside.
