drama report time!

I realize now that I am woefully uninformed about recent Japanese dramas because I've been watching/trying to keep up with a lot of Korean dramas and I miss them. The last Japanese dramas I liked were Ryusei no Kizuna and VOICE and both of those aired AGES ago so clearly I am totally out of the loop. Any suggestions? I haven't even watched Bloody

haha, i think so too. let's not try it then, shall we? :P yeah, 'maou' was good... a little depressing, but good nonetheless. XD and yeah, he's the dad in 'my girl'. i was also thrown off until i realized that aiba's already freakin' 28 (26-27 when the drama was filmed, i believe), and the kid's supposed to be 5, so... it's actually not too much of a stretch. sometimes i have to remember that arashi is closer to 30 than to 20 nowadays, lol.

i've actually never seen the pikanchis... D: it's on my list, haha. i've seen 'kiiroi namida' though, and i was impressed by it. it's a period film/slice-of-life so the pacing was slow, but the acting was pretty convincing. (and i direct this comment at sho, who normally can't act his way out of a paper bag. how he keeps getting movie and drama roles, i'll never know. >_>)
