I've never had this happen to me before, surprisingly.
OMG I AM WATCHING ARASHI LIVE ON TV RIGHT NOW. I literally squeed out loud by accident when I realized I was watching Utawara. XDDD I have NO idea what everyone is saying or even what's going on (it looks like they're in some giant stadium) but the pretty is on TV and it's live! *still squeeing*
So, my plane in LA was delayed for 2 hours, which means I missed my connecting flight from Tokyo to Beijing. At least when you get stuck in Japan they take care of you, so the airline is putting me in a hotel for the night (plus I get dinner and breakfast, which doesn't mean excellent food or anything but at least it's free) and I'll fly out tomorrow morning instead. I didn't have to pick up my giant suitcase, which is great except that all my clothes are in there so I'll have to wear this same outfit tomorrow. Unfortunately I'm not staying in Tokyo proper or I'd totally go out right now.
Am still delighted that Arashi is on TV, even if they are singing One Love, which I don't particularly like, but now they've moved on to Kaze no Mukou e which I love and which Jun sings fewer lines in
