I'm thinking about cooking. I have the materials for ice tea including a pitcher that I've dug up and washed the dust off and the mix. I could just use the tap water but for this first batch I'm going to use the water put through the Brita filter. The pitcher takes 1&1/2 brita pitchers. And I can't get my ice maker to function.
I have a pouch of gingerbread mix that I made sure I had the 'just toss in' extras, like water and margarine and egg. Found my pearl sugar! I washed off the cookie sheets, yes both of them. Now I'm wondering if I should bother since I do not have any tin or container to put them in. If I don't have a good place to put them I'll end up eating too many 'to keep them from getting stale' and not give them away.
Mix cooking can be good. Scratch cooking is not always superior. Some family recipes just aren't as good as what can be bought as a mix.
