Eugene Neil Dierix died today. He was my mother's little brother. He was the last of 8 and his mom said that he was the E.N.D.
He taught me how to play poker and crazy 8's
He taught me some of the best dirty jokes I know.
He was the first person to let me drive (I was 10)
Once, when there were fires all over Terlton we went to help put them out. I think I was 11 or 12 that year.
He always helped if he could.
I was called on February 14, and told he was in the final stages of liver failure. I was went to see him last night and he looked do awful. He was yellow. Even his eyes. The man that was once so proud couldn't even walk. And he didn't really know I was there.
I am thankful that he is no longer in pain though. And the nurses that took care of him were so nice. They said he made them laugh.

No one in my family is allowed to die any more! There aren't that many of us left! Only 11 or so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
