I lied..one more post.
Damn you internet. I just typed up a whole blog, and then it was deleted. Long story short:
*Raymore and Flannigan furniture SUCKS and discrimates. Fuck them
*I reserved a UHaul for July 7th. Moving day = moving party. Please come, I'll feed you
*A run in with my blisters lead me to "Furniture freight liquidators" at which I got a BRAND NEW, RED, MICROFIBER, 3 PERSON, LAURA ASHLEY SOFA for just 212 dollars, INLCUDING tax. It was considered "damaged" because it's dusty. Not dirty, dusty. Yay! It's pretty much my dream sofa (and Cindy Lee, you're gonna loooove it!)
*Drove around center city for 30 minutes trying to find a) a street space (no go), b) a garage opened past 10pm, c) a garage opened for non-show goers. Finally, I found one, 15 blocks from where I needed to be. But, I had delicious sushi, saw a hilarious drag show, enjoyed yummy dessert, and had some wonderful conversation. Date = success. Except for trying to get OUT of the garage, when it told me my already paid ticked was unpaid and unvalid and wouldn't let me out. No one answered the "help" button, so got out, hunted down the night janitor, and 25 minutes later, I was on my merry way. Oy.
*Must be up in like 5 hours for Dar to take me to the airport. Please feel free to call me/text me in Florida.
*My feet, hips and knees hurt. As a side note, I'd really like to live one full day without any pain. I can't remember the last time I had one of those. Maybe middle school? I wonder what it would be like...
