SLOAN!!!
Ok...so the Sloan and Jet concert was last night and let me tell ya...it totally owned.
Ok, Skalomenos and i got to Sunset Station around 5 or so, Reagan and Tanner showed up about 15 minutes later, but we had to wait in line to get in the gate, we were there so early that we were the second people to get in...Then we had to wait at another gate until 7 and then when they let us through that, we went to the very front, I mean, we were like hanging over the railing.
The actual concert didn't start until 8, but we were having so much fun. The Everyones came on first and they were pretty cool, i'm definitely going to buy there CD when it comes out.
Then the people we went there to see came on...That's right, Sloan was next, it was so awesome, Skally and I kept waving to the guy and he would do all these awesome poses for us to take pictures. I try and put the pics on in my next journal.
Then JET came out and they were awesome, i was getting so smushed up against the railing when Jet was performing. But they were cool, about have way through the show, we waved down the lead singer and he did a pose just for us, he was looking straight at my camera. Then probably the 2nd best part of the concert occured, when Jet finished, the drummer tossed his sticks into the crowd and Skally caught one!!! The look on his face was so funny, because he was scared someone was going to beat him up for it. Good times.
Then Jet finished and we headed over to the merchandise counter to get a poster and the Bass Guitarist from SLOAN was right there! So we definitely got a picture with him, it's a good picture, even though it looks like i have several chins. We also got a poster signed by him which is currently hanging up in my room.
So all in all, I think that was the best concert i've ever been to, and it is going to be hard to match it...
