What's Up, pussycat
1. I bought a car! AHHHHH! I guess it's necessary for my life and I can't keep borrowing or renting cars forever. I got a 1986 Jetta from a local mechanic whom I trust and really like. He said, "I put in $1600 worth of work into it to make it into tip-top shape. You are paying for the work, but you get the car for free." It's in really good shape and I trust it will get me far and wide. I hope to plop down some more money on it and get a good stereo and speakers in a few months. Right now I am on one speaker and a crappy tape deck and radio that has no display on it, so I have no idea what radio sttion I am listening to.
2. I miss Demian. 2 weeks since his death and I still get calls at work asking for him. It's devastating to have to say, "Wow, I have some bad news, Demian passed away recently." Then have dead silence and a renewed sense of grief after giving out that news. I can still see his lovely self, all bundled up in his heavy jacket for working in the walk-in fridge, smile on his face and witty, smart-ass remark on his lips. Funny how much I didn't fully realize how much he touched my life. I spend a lot of time now letting people now how much they mean to me.
3. I have been getting into the series, "Alias"on DVD. I now want to be a whip-smart double agent who gets to wear hot outfits and dye her hair all kinds of crazy colors while kicking some covert ass in high heels and play with all kinds of cool gagets that look like diamond necklaces and groovy handbags.
4. Things still fun and fun and fun with That Man.
