Greetings from Cowboy Country

Here I am in Jackson Hole, Wyoming visiting with Jackie, Dave and Gavin. The plane flight was truely awesome due to my lovely drugs. Although the drugs helped me cope with the flight, I did have the realization that it won't keep my from dying in the event of a plane crash. Oh well, modern medicine can't cure everything! Here are some highlight so far from the trip. I am pleased to say I only used one pill for both flights, now I have extra for recreational purposes!

1. Found out that the bathrooms in the Denver Airport also serve the dual purpose of tornado shelters. At least if you shit your pants in the event of a tornado you don't have to go far to clean it all up.

2. Wyoming is FUCKING GORGEOUS! The airport is not surrounded by industial hell like most airports, but huge mountain ranges and beautiful valleys. And that's just the airport...

3. I usually try to identify with an new area by getting to know the plant and animal life. So far I have seen a black billed magpie, mullien, aspen trees, bison, mountain lupine, yarrow, mountain sage and the common raven. Plus a whole lotta snow in the higher hills and mountains.

4. The area reminds me of the landscape in Clan of the Cave Bear or Valley of the Horses, great Jean Auel books.

5. Anya has been playing with Gavin's Thomas the Train set for 20 minutes while everyone else naps. This is the most time I have had to be in myself since yesterday.

6. Willow, Diego and peter arrive from Fairfax-land Monday. WE are all going to go camping in Yellowstone or at a local hotspring. It will be nutty to have 5 adults and 3 children in the Baxa's small apartment. Like one big happy sleepover of freinds.
