the Oregon Experience - Day 1
Day 1
We embarked Thursday morning.. at 6am for the road-trip excursion to Bend, Oregon for cousin's Graduation.
We arrived at location at 3pm. The drive was... well, interesting. or should I say more the stops were interesting.
the Drive was just that.. hours on end, driving... It was purtiful but long.. but the clouds were lil puffs in the crisp blue sky... the climate got steadily cooler as we ventured farther north. Mount Shasta was snow capped and a gem in the passing view of rich greens and rolling plains.
We stopped for lunch in a town called Weed, in far northern California. What was odd about it... was that the waiter accosted my mother by insisting that she stand while grappling her into an upright Yoga stretch position. He was a Chinese masseuse, claiming to be born in India, working in a Mexican restaurant where they have a rack of oversized Stuffed animals amidst the moziac tile and sombrero's.
