An unfortunate truth
It was that time again. It was around the time the Bloofer was sure to appear in Juuban.
She was dressed in her school clothing, and pale as a ghost. Yet, Usagi couldn't let herself fall down again. She was feeling dizzy, weak, unable to concentrate. Even though she'd eaten boatloads of food in the past hour (food that had tasted a bit off, but she ate it nevertheless), had taken her medication, nothing seemed to help. The fainting spell was inevitable, but...
But she knew the Bloofer would appear soon. She had to keep awake! She had to! The other girls were working on it, she couldn't let her illness get the better of her!
"No sign of the Bloofer....no sign..."
Her eyes began to dilate as she felt the ground roll and disappear under her feet. She staggered forward to her knees, her eyes rolling to the back of her head.
Her last thought before blacking out was that she just....couldn't believe.
She couldn't believe how hungry she still was.
