Minako wasn't sure where she was, but why should that matter? There was a volleyball field! And if there was anything she liked to do it was playing volleyball. She picks up the ball. "Alright! Who is willing to challenge the volleyball champion? Anyone?" Minako grins as she looks around the place.

Lulu entered the clearing, taking note immediately of the clean air and green grass. This place was like a little piece of paradise, except for the fact there were tables and chairs spread out all over the place. They ruined the scene completely. The blond girl near the net seemed very familiar, but she couldn't place it. She'd been experiencing these sensations a lot recently, but was still no closer to an answer.

It wasn't Twister, but Lulu was up to the challenge. Shedding her lab coat, the green haired botanist made her way over to the net. "Champion you say?"

The grin widened. "You heard that right! Aino Minako is the best player of the school's volleyball team!" She glanced at the person, but didn't seem to recognize her. Ah, well, it could just be some random person who heard her, right?

"Do you think you're up for the challenge?" Minako then says, pointing at the other person.

Where there are sports, there is Kino Makoto!

"Eh? Venus?" She stares at Minako for a moment. "This is a new you," she remarks. Her world's Venus tends to be much less outgoing and much less into sports, overly serious as the senshi leader and focused almost entirely between that and her idol career.

But it's Minako! And sports!

"I'll play," she offers cheerfully.

That first part definitely confuses Minako. Why did random people keep popping her up and calling her Venus? Artemis did say she was from Venus, but how could anyone else know that? She blinks a few times before quickly changing the subject back to the game.

"Alright! So, let's exchange names first! I'm Aino Minako, the volleyball's team champion!"

"Eh? Minako-chan you don't remember?" Is this Minako from earlier, then? They hadn't known her well for a long time. She pastes on a quick smile anyway.

"I'm Kino Makoto," the athlete-senshi introduces herself.

"Nice to meet you! But I don't remember meeting anyone named like that.. Did I forget? I'm sorry!" Minako says a bit awkwardly. After all, she tended to be a ditz sometimes, maybe this was just one of her clumsy actions.

"I guess it's this Nexus again," Makoto says a bit uncertainly. "Maybe your world is different."

That more serious thought hands there a moment before Makoto adds: "But I still won't go easy on you in volleyball."

"Yes, that's probably it!" Hey, as long as she doesn't need to blame herself for it.

The grin doesn't disappear at that statement. "That's what I expect! After all, I do want a good match."

It doesn't take long to be facing each other from opposite sides of the net and ready to go. Volleyball isn't her sport, precisely, but Makoto's good at sports; it'll probably be a pretty even match. And definitely fun. Even when she inevitably loses to the volleyball champion Aino Minako.

"Hm, doesn't seem like there's a referee around, but I'm sure we're both all about fair play, right?" Minako smiles as she gets the ball she picked up out from under her arm.

"Ready?" After that, she serves the ball.

She definitely knows what she's doing. Makoto returns the ball easily, and hurries to a more central spot on her side of the court, eyeing Minako for the exact spot the next volley will come to.

Oh, Makoto's good! Minako grins, this could become a very fun match. She manages to return the ball in the same fashion as Makoto, the grin never leaving her face.

Bump! Makoto gets this one just the slightest bit too low, and although it makes it over the net easily, that's exactly the problem - it's easy. Minako has a clear shot if she's close enough to the net to spike it back.

And she is! Well, she's easily able to make it to the net in time and jumps up to spike it right back at Makoto. Do you smell that? It's the smell of victory!

And Makoto misses the return. Point Minako. She doesn't seem too upset by it, though.

"Your point!" she calls out.
