Happy ♥ Easter! Those who find themselves in this space will first notice the air is cool and fresh, much cleaner than one would find in the city. The sun shone down upon a brilliant green clearing surrounded by tall, aged trees. Five tables were set out at one end, each containing a variety of foods, as well as sweets of every style, color and ( Read more... )

Well, didn't this look fun! Another Chibiusa appears, this one looks only to be a young teen, maybe 15 at the most; she still has the big puffs of hair instead of long pigtails.
She's smiling happily at the tables and decorations, unsure of what they're for, but enjoying the bright colors and fun atmosphere nonetheless. It seemed lonely without the big crowd of people it seemed meant for.

It took a doubletake for Chibiusa to recognize that the big splash of pink in the middle of the seats was a person, not more pastel decorations. Her eyes widen and she gasps quietly. She moves slowly towards the person with the long pink hair, and smiles uncertainly.

"Are the sweets good?"

This one had never met a double before, and the whole idea of other worlds, dimensions and realities only came to her from the bits and pieces Pallas tried to explain, and that didn't always help as much as one might think. Seeing another pink-haired girl was one thing, but recognizing her was another. Chibiusa nearly dropped her plate, fumbling with it to keep from spilling all the delicious cookies.

"Ahh! You're me!"

The reaction was pretty amusing, especially since Chibiusa was able to watch it on her own face. Rare opportunity, that.
She laughed, and waved cheerfully. "While you're here, you'll meet lots of different versions of people you know. Yourself included," she added with a grin.

Chibiusa pulls up a chair and sits in it, smiling happily at her more grown self. "I should warn you to be careful, and not reveal too much information about yourself to soon when you meet someone. Even if they're your friend back home, the person you're talking to might not be."

"PallaPalla told me about that," she replied quietly, looking a little to the side. She hadn't fully accepted it as described, but now seeing herself sitting down next to her it really was true wasn't it?

That much had been said to her as well, but the meaning wasn't entirely clear. How could a friend not be a friend, even if they were from another world? "People from other worlds aren't our friends? How is that possible?"

Ah, such a good question. A hard one. Chibiusa's expression softens. "It's different for everyone. I can't figure it out," she admits quietly, smiling with a much sadder note to her face now.

"I guess the best explanation is that things sometimes happen too differently in other worlds..." she muses. "There's a Mercury here who's very cold and angry. In her world, Usagi was the one who destroyed the world during the Silver Millennium. And in this life, she and Ami-chan and Rei-chan and Mako-chan and Mina-P never really bonded... They all did their separate things." She pauses; though she was still fighting to reclaim this version of her friend, thinking about how difficult Mercury was still was disheartening. "That world is very sad."

It was all a bit hard to take in. How could people she knew be different? The proof she needed was seated beside her now. It was her, but obviously not a past version of herself. A future version, perhaps, but that raised far too many questions that she didn't want to delve into.

Chibiusa's eyes open a bit wider as she listens not only to the explanation, but Usagi's name. As the list continues, with the name of each senshi her eyelids drop until finally her eyes are completely closed. Her own expression was one of not only confusion but sorrow. How could any of this be? "Everyone... That's not the way it should be. It all sounds very sad."
