Once again, one of the blue-haired girls with baubles upon her head has found her way into the large multipurpose room where strange things happened before. The area is set up much differently than it had been. Rather than looking like an over-sized living room, the couches and chairs have been moved into loosely formed rows all facing a stage

After that, she looks down at the floor and starts singing what doesn't seem to be a very energetic or happy song for once in a soft voice.
"The time to cry has come. 'I understand it's very important to you..' At least, that's that I wanted to say. Everyone is leaving... A young girl's time of innocence, it cannot continue.. I say I understand this, but, but today we suddenly have to part.."
Now Usagi looks up at the audience again, in a louder voice and visibly sad. "'Sorry about that day!' If only I could have said that. 'Thank you for everything!' If only I could have said that. I hope you have memories of this town, but I'll become a lonely Usagi."
The following part is then more softly again, and the pauses between the lines become slightly longer. But her volume increases when the song furthers, back to regular volume around 'thank you'. "It's important... It's important... You're all important to me. Farewell and thank you.. 'Sorry about that day!' If only I could have said that. 'Thank you for everything!' If only I could have said that. I hope you have memories of this town, but I'll become a lonely Usagi."

At first, she manages to keep her calm quite well as Ami turns and sings to Usagi, confirming what the other girl has just said herself:
"I'm going now, Usagi-chan."

Well, there's only one appropriate answer to that, right?
"Sayonara.."

"If I had seen your face..."
Just once, just once if she'd seen them, if they'd been there, if she hadn't had to face Kunzite alone and hear 'they won't help you' and know he was right. If they'd just been there...

'Thank you.' For being her friend? For always helping her? For putting up with her? For that time she had nearly turned into a youma and Ami-chan had watched over her? Just 'thank you' wasn't probably even giving enough thanks for that.

The frustration is building, and with it that poorly-restrained emotion. Ami is so caught up in these thoughts that she hasn't even heard what Usagi's singing right with her, in perfect and bitter harmony somehow. Too late, too late. The words fly at each other anyway, missing each other in the air.
Because... because she can't really be that horrible person who could just turn on everyone for nothing, right?

That's right, if it's Ami-chan's decision to take that road, if that's what makes Ami-chan happy in the end.. Why should she feel so sad about it? But she still can't stop that feeling, even if she wants to. Maybe that's why she never stops trying, no matter how many times this Ami-chan tells her she doesn't want to be friends.

"My heart will always be here!"
If only it weren't; it might be more frustration and anger than longing in her voice. Softer:
"But, don't cry, be well."
This Usagi, this one, this one, not the one she knew. Another one. One who might have a chance to live except believing so is impossible! But she can at least say those words right now.

"My heart seems like it's ripping apart!" There's a look of pain on Usagi's face as she sings it.
Meeting so many alternate versions of her friends in this nexus, and then some of them telling her that they don't want to be friends or don't recognize her.. It hurts! She couldn't imagine herself without her best friends anymore by now. Ami-chan, Rei-chan, Mako-chan.. They were all important to her. Any versions of them. This Ami-chan as well.

With a deep breath as if she's steeling herself for something, Ami squares her shoulders and prepares to walk away.
"Sayonara!"

"Ami-chan!" A very short pause. "Wait for me! Until the day that we meet again."

"Wait for me! Until the day that we meet again..."
A shared wish, for just that one moment.
