This room is very large, capable of holding any number of events depending upon arrangement. Currently, the furniture is spread out much like a large living room or lounge. There is a large television at one end of the room, surrounded by couches and a large table at the center. An assortment of snacks are laid out upon the table, as if someone ( Read more... )

Setsuna finds herself stepping into the large room, a room she'd not expected to step into. Something feels off in here, but she can't quite place it yet. She takes a moment to look around, walking slowly to the middle of the room. "This is my timey wimey detector. Goes ding when there's stuff."

...What was that?

"This offer is for a limited time only."

... What? Selene blinks at Pluto. That was very unexpected, no matter how true it is that this probably isn't permanent.

Her eyes widen rather in disbelief at just what she's seeing. She's just as confused about this whole situation, but now even more so. "Whoa, this is heavy."

"Don't be a Noid! Call Dominos!" Selene says somewhat cheerfully before her expression falls back to utter confusion again.

"What about all that talk about screwing up future events, the space-time continuum?"

Setsuna stood motionless as the final words were spoken. That was not what she'd meant to say, though it seemed similar to what she was thinking; just, not quite. There was something very wrong in this room.

"A bolt of lighting. Unfortunately, you never know when or where it's ever gonna strike."

Well, at least that sounds a lot more normal, just not normal for her. But she's a little more worried about, well, what she's just said: the unpredictability of whatever is happening.

"We shall proceed as planned, and as soon as we return to 1985, we'll destroy this infernal machine. Traveling through time has become much too painful."

...Rather, meeting those from the past was potentially painful, but what did she mean by machine, and how did the year 1985 figure into things? What she'd meant to say was, a way must be found to correct this problem before it becomes worse.

"If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything."

Because yes, they do need to put a stop to whatever is causing this - and all the confusion of Time-Space recently. And at least those words sound a lot... more like her...

"The encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy."

She quite agreed with Serenity's sentiments, though she couldn't make the point clear with these strange words taking shape whenever she opened her mouth to speak. This stretching and connecting of points in time and space was a serious issue. There was no way to know when a catastrophe might occur as a result.

Alright, she's going to be very careful and just agree with Pluto; Selene understands the risks and that is why she has avoided any rash behavior and has instead been consulting with various Plutos, Serenitys, and senshi.

"Yes." A beat. Then her mouth opens again as if that just wasn't enough. "Well, that's a relief."

Sarcasm? From Selene?
