Crystal Clear Problems

[She's sitting in the senshi meeting room in the Dark Kingdom, staring almost blankly off, and something glints in her hands. She idly movies the objects around with her fingers, a slight clinking as they brush against each other. What are they? The violet and orange rainbow crystals- stolen courtesy of Mercury's aid from that stupid prince.

Mercury has no such debates as she idly fidgets with two transformation bracelets that never originally belonged to her. When she sees Venus - and the crystals - she stops and finds an ironic smile for the shadowed senshi.

"Good afternoon, Venus!"

[Looks up, startled by Mercury's appearance, but manages a smile. Loosens her grip on the crystals, where the surprise had instinctively made her hold them closer. This Mercury has no reason to go after the crystals. Peeks at what Mercury is holding, curious.]

Ooo, Mercury-chan, what are those?

[Although, you might sense her on guard now. If she's been connected to the nexus, who knows who will appear. Tucks the crystals away into her subspace pocket.]

She grins and holds them up. Like the other senshi, Mercury sees little reason to fear.

"Transformation bracelets from Jupiter and Mars. They've surrendered." She sees little reason to hide it. It's a triumph. "They're living human lives now, I assume."

Venus can take some pride in the fact 'she' has outlasted the others, if she wishes. Either way, Mercury is feeling decidedly cheerful about the accomplishment, although she hadn't quite expected to end up here with the bracelets.

[Her eyes widen. That's why... that Mars refused to answer to anything but Rei. She's torn between being happy for Mercury, and hating the fact that these alternate senshi have forsaken their powers and their planets. Settles for a disgusted look.]

That's pitiful. I met the Mars from your world. [Shakes her head.] I don't get how they can be so blinded.

"Sailor Venus! I'm here to bring the rainbow crystals back!"

It's Prince Endymion, sword drawn already and taking no chances. Had he been observing somehow between when he arrived and making his presence known?

He lunges towards Venus, since she has his prize in her hands. He's skilled and fast, his goal strikes to her hands and arms that will hopefully make her drop the crystals, giving him a chance to collect them.

[HOSHIT it's an Endymion! And it's HER world's Endymion to boot. Stands quickly, jumping back as soon as she hears his voice. No time to open a subspace pocket, but- she can't let him have the crystals! Tucks them in the first place she can think of- down her fuku.]

Back off, moon bait! We stole them fair and square!

"Those crystals don't belong to you. They belong to the Princess and her ginzuishou!"

...And then she's putting them there. Endymion's face becomes a perfect textbook example of 'flustered' and a sweat breaks out over his face. Yeah, he won't be going there.

[Ooooooh, she looks triumphant now. The prince won't even THINK about going after the crystals now! Relaxes and puts her hands on her hips, laughing.]

Get a canoe, tux for brains! You're never getting the crystals back, and you're never getting the ginzuishou either! It's going to be ours, and we're going to break that brat's brainwashing once and for all!

[With the nexus open, it doesn't take long for a certain youma to find the entrance to the Dark Kingdom. After all, she had been searching for it since her confrontation with Sailor Mars. The energy signature here was similar to hers. It doesn't take her long to find Venus or the crystals.]

"Massive Energy!!" The youma practically screams. It makes an insane lunge for the gems, seemingly ignoring Venus entirely.

[WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Youma gone wild? Mars was right, they're crazy! Clutches the crystals tight, jumping back and kicking at the youma to get it away.]

Back off! I collected these and you can't have them!! Go find your own energy!

[Once kicked, the youma is pushed back, but it quickly gets back on it's feet.]

"I desire the energy in those gems! I MUST have them...I won't be denied!"

[The youma rears back and a mass of freezing blue webbing is shot towards Venus's direction.]

[Crap! Ducks out of the way quickly, rolling to one side, and lets loose her love-me chain. If she can catch the stupid thing, it won't be an issue.]

YOU want to face Beryl if you hurt the crystals? Because if that meant we couldn't get the ginzuishou...
