It must be Halloween, but this year doesn't seem to have much variety. Actually, it looks more like someone let an uncreative person clothe everyone in the dregs of a bargain barrel of leftovers from a Halloween store after last year's rush. Lady Serenity is used to a lot of different customs. She's even used to getting scared by haunted houses and the general creepiness of Halloween.

This is different. This feels really scary, not that half-pleasant scaring herself so she can cling to her friends and they can whimper and laugh and cry together.

But what's really going on? She steps carefully, and her hand hovers near her chest as if she's half ready to transform.

There is a witch, green skin and warts and all. She separates from the main confusion and heads right towards the area where Nehellenia and Lady Serenity are, cackling rather inanely as she walks hunched over.

Be careful, she's probably contagious. In fact, she's potentially highly contagious. At least any warts that spread will disappear by tomorrow? S

"Queen Nehellenia!" But, attacking the creatures, not her. So this is a Nehellenia willing to be peaceful. She's deeply grateful - especially right now. Lady Serenity gives a quick nod and finally seems to realize she should transform.

"Moon Eternal Make-Up!"

The daimon hates this interference immediately, with as much as it can hate when it has very little consciousness of its own to begin with. First, it must deal with Nehellenia, but the queen's power is strong. She shrieks horribly and falls to the ground - but she is not yet defeated, quite. She eyes them both and starts to mutter the words of an old curse. It'd probably be best not to let her finish.

Or get too close for too long. Do either of these pretty young ladies want warts?

She can't be sure what's going on, but for some reason the daimon stops. Sailor no-longer-chibi Moon doesn't hesitate to attack. If she can purify the thing...

The witch stops because it can't move. It's trapped inside some infinite nothingness, some wave of oblivion. It swims and swirls and does- nothing.

She doesn't even let out a final shriek as she's held still for that finishing blow. The daimon egg falls to the ground and cracks open, full of...

candy?

"Candy?" She's as blank as Nehellenia, and shakes her head. "It wasn't like this before," she says. She does, of course, recognize their enemy for a daimon after seeing that, but candy?

[pinksugarlady]

Lady Serenity nods. "It was before we met the Dead Moon," she says, carefully choosing the word 'met'. Perhaps someone like Nehellenia, who envied the happiness of the white moon, hasn't quite realized the battles and troubles they have faced.

Lady Serenity stares at Nehellenia in horror. "But... but...!" Her lip trembles and her eyes widen.
