She arrives in a flash of light but that's the only disturbance she causes to the world she wanders to with her arrival. Just a sudden flash of light, which has an artificial feeling to it and is gone in a second. It may attract people's curiosity, or they can just shrug it off. She doesn't stay there thought

Fortunately it's a blond Usagi who sees the new arrival. This avoids the issue of people around them seeing double, or whether she suddenly has a twin.

"Ah... why don't we go look for them together?" She gives a smile that's just a bit too bright, because she really needs to bring this girl out of the way somewhere they can talk privately.

She wasn't programmed to recognize alternates, though she will definitively learn after this meeting thanks to her AI. But in her world she didn't exist until she was created, no one expected an artificial being having an alternate existence in other worlds, she's artificial after all.

She nods calmly and serene; "Please, guide me to them. It's important." And she settles to follow this girl who has offered her even the faintest clue of where she could find her masters' alternates.

Usagi leads the way out of the way. Once they're away from where they'd be noticed (it doesn't occur to her to be careful with an alternate), she drops her bomb of information.

"I'm Tsukino Usagi. It's nice to meet you. You're also Usagi-chan, right?"

Usagi just blinks. She wasn't prepared for this but she adapts quickly, though it leaves her staring for a moment.

"My model number is U54G1 T5UK1N0;" she replies, giving the exact sequence of numbers and letters. "Usagi Tsukino informally." Because calling her every time with the letters and numbers is a pain even for her creator and masters.

"Please, guide me to your masters, it's important;" because this one must be an artificial being too. Usagi Tsukino is a being created by her masters, it can't exist on her own, right?

[buntails]

"My masters?" Usagi has a sudden, horrifying vision of a world with everyone as slaves. Did the enemy take over somehow?

"There's nothing like that. What happened to everyone?"

That... Doesn't compute. "Nothing like the masters?"

Her program speeds up as she thinks about that. If there are no masters, how was this Usagi created? Maybe she had other masters? No, she said there weren't masters. Maybe they are already dead?

"Oh..." She says as she comes to that conclusion. "If the masters' alternates don't exist in this world anymore I don't know what I should do. It wasn't really contemplated in my instructions that such a world could exist."

[buntails]

She doesn't want to know the answer, but she can't run away from it.

"Usagi-chan..." Usagi speaks very carefully, and quietly, "Who are you talking about when you say that?"

Usagi looks at the other, not fully understanding the question as she was referring to many people. Her masters, her masters alternates... Doesn't this one know who her masters are? Even if they aren't here anymore, maybe she got a memory reset? Since she's unsure she decides to reply taking in consideration everything she said.

"First I was referring to the alternates of my masters that should exist in the other worlds connected by the nexus. By that I was also referring to my masters: Master Endymion, Master Kunzite, Mistress Ami Mizuno, Master Zoisite, Mistress Minako Aino, Master Nephrite, Mistress Makoto Kino, Master Jadeite and Mistress Rei Hino. Finally I was referring to Mistress Ami Mizuno and Master Endymion, who were the ones who gave me the instructions for my mission;" she smiles as she replies. "Do you understand now?"

[buntails]

She'd noticed those were who her alternate was looking for, but... She'd assumed 'master' and 'mistress' had just been being polite somehow. She never thought...

"Do they really make you call them that?" It doesn't seem right.

[wanderlastmoon]

"It would be confusing to call them all papa and mama, besides it's more proper and polite this way unless certain conditions are fulfilled. Mistress Ami Mizuno said it would be awkward for their alternates if I went around called any of them the same way I call my masters back at home;" so no, they don't really make her call them that. Actually she doesn't go around 'Master' and 'Mistress' back at home, but if Ami said it could be awkward she can't go around that way in other worlds.

[buntails]

That'd definitely be Ami's idea if anyone's. But...

"But aren't they your friends? Friends wouldn't treat you like a servant." Even if it's the senshi girls.

[wanderlastmoon]

"Friends? Yes, the masters and their wives are friends with Master Endymion and among themselves, of course;" it can't be any other way, right? Or maybe it can, in other worlds, but they made her together and she's searching for the alternates of all of them. It's pretty clear they must be friends.

"I'm not a servant, though I can take on servant duties, I'm a dating sim. Are you a servant?" Maybe this other Usagi was made with a different purpose after all. Not that she's really fulfilling her purpose as a dating sim at the moment.

[buntails]

"A dating sim?!" For a moment, Usagi looks properly horrified by this idea. Then she laughs.

"Ahaha... I won't be fooled by everyone that easily!" Clearly, a group from another world is playing games. Only... this other Usagi had sounded so serious at first.

[wanderlastmoon]

This Usagi simply blinks. Not fully understanding what this other one is getting to. Fooled? She's not designed to fool people.

"A dating sim;" she repeats with a nod. "I'm designed to bring company and satisfaction to whoever requires it. Right now I'm fulfilling a mission of higher priority, thought. Do the masters really not live in this world anymore?"

[buntails]

Finally, finally it clicks.

"A robot?!!" The shock makes it rather clear that this Usagi either is not a robot, or at least certainly has never thought of herself as one.

"Android;" she corrects with a light frown and pout. This Usagi isn't being very helpful at the moment, she has a mission. Good thing that she does actually have time to chit-chat a bit, as the kinzuishou will charge a bit in that time.

"Don't you recognize yourself as one?" Maybe this one was programmed so she didn't admit her condition?
