"So what? It's her fault she's not watching where she's going!" Nephrite is full of self-righteous confidence. He is right. People should get out of his way instead of being there to get run into. It's inconvenient for him, too, you know.
He honestly doesn't think of himself as one. Nephrite turns his head to glance over his shoulder back at Makoto. "Whatever," he decides. "What's wrong about it if I am?"
What's with all the bullying talk? Oh. Right. He just pretty much said he is one. He'd just been being stubborn, though. Humans are perfectly safe from him. Unless they get him angry and he shoves them around a bit. And that hasn't happened in awhile.
"Yeah, fine," he says. She can try. If he actually does anything. "Hey, are you shopping, too? I still need to get the rest of the things for Crown."
Waithuhwhat? "Yeah, I guess." The truth is, he's still getting used to food from the human world after the Dark Kingdom; appetites seem to... differ. But curry is one of the foods he does like; it's nice and heavy and thick and spicy hot. "Why?"
Uh... Right. Well, he's not going to look a gift meal in the bowl. "I'll come but I don't know where it is," he says. He'd never been as industrious about hunting the girls down as civilians.
She had, he realizes; it had just seemed a bit strange to go to all that trouble to make food to bring it somewhere else. Whatever; she can do what she wants. He won't complain if it gets him a free, home-cooked meal.
"When? I don't want to fill up on other things if someone's cooking a meal." This is not being considerate; this is wanting to be hungry for food that will far outclass the convenience store bentou and the snacks he tends to live on.
