Fire Fight
"Wait!"
"Didn't I tell you? You're not really my type. Can't you waste someone else's time?" The flame-haired young man folded his arms and glanced askance at the girl across from him that had chased him this far. An arrogant, put-upon look accompanied the harsh rejection.
"We've come this far," the girl said.
"And you kept up with me, I'm impressed!" The boy returned. "But I'm not interested in pursuing anything further with you."
"Then let's finish this here." Sailoruranus smirked and lifted the Space Sword talisman into view. She pointed it at Hawk's Eye. "You're not my type either." The corner of the Amazonian's eye twitched, and he vaulted backwards, a little further away from the senshi.
He brought a torch from nowhere and blew, and fire spiraled at the senshi. "Heh." Uranus brought the sword up in a sharp arc, and wind cut from it, dispersing the fire. "Can't you waste someone else's time?" she asked, echoing the arrogance in Hawk's-Eye's voice earlier. "Space Sword Blaster!"
The Amazonian didn't avoid the whole attack, and he fell hard, driven back and against the unyielding street. He scrambled up quickly, cursing and dusting the grime from himself. "You ruined my outfit!" he complained loudly. "I'm angry now!"
"Are you finished?" she called in a sharp tone, hands raised in another battle pose. "With you, maybe." Hawk's Eye answered sullenly, drawing up that torch again. He blew fire again, and it wrapped itself into a circle around Uranus. She turned around herself, sword drawn up close. She strikes with the sword, and wind whipped at the flames again. But this time, they just spiralled higher and closer.
Come play with fire?
