Even though Miai is usually already pretty small, kid!Miai is even smaller. She seems to be about seven years old, but looks a few years younger. A - rather big, compared to her - doll is clenched tightly in her hands, held against her as if it's some kind of lifeguard.

The young girl curiously looks around, as if the situation interests her more than it scares or even surprises her.

Have a little five year old princess in front of you, with a wide eyed look on her face. Because that doll?

"It's so pretty!!" And the princess is absolutely fearless about talking to a stranger about it!

Miai giggles as she hears the compliment for her doll, not even fazed by the appearance of this girl. The crescent moon seems familiar, though.. Miai tries to think about it, but gives up after a few minutes.

"Do you want to hold it for a moment?" the little girl asks, smiling.

"I can really hold it!" There are definite stars in Serenity's eyes, as she smiles gleefully at the other little girl! "Mmmm!"

With a smile Miai stretches her arms and manages to pull the doll away from her and hold it out to the other girl instead. "There you go!"

She's extra careful with the doll when she takes it, because it's so pretty, and because it's not her toy to play with! But close up, it looks even prettier, and she hugs it for a moment before grinning to the other little girl.

"Where did you get it? Was it a gift from someone important?"

She nods, although she seems slightly hesitant about telling about it first. Miai manages to find the words after a few moments. "Miai-chan got it from daddy." For a moment it seems like she is going to say more about it, but in the end she doesn't.

The other girl's tone sounds really sad, and it makes her look up a little, how pretty the doll is forgotten... because she doesn't want her to be sad. It would be better if they could both smile, so Serenity moves a little closer to the other girl, and offers the doll back with a warm smile.

"Then it must be really important to you. You should keep it close, and then you'll smile more."

"Hmm!" Miai takes the doll again, clenching it just as tight as before. She nods at the other girl.

"Miai-chan always smiles a lot! For daddy's sake.. For everyone's sake, as well. Because Miai-chan wants to see everyone else happy as well!" Not to mention together, she adds in her head.

"I wonder how it really happened," a seven-year-old Mercury says. "I should analyze this." She seems entirely too cutely serious as she touches a finger to her earring and the visor comes down.

"Kunzite!" Her face lights up to see him as it never will once it's older. All that guardedness that tinges even her sincere connection to him is gone.

"Mercury will figure out what happened to do this," she announces. He'll be proud of her for that.

She has all the admiration of a young, somewhat shy behind the masks she puts on, girl for such a competent, self-assured older boy. To hear him confident in her abilities is invigorating and energizing.

"It's not showing anything," she frets a moment later. But this is her chance!

"There's an energy signature but it can't find it." The words roll off the younger tongue a bit awkwardly and she doesn't say locate.

"Ami will work hard to still find it."
