"Are you a senshi?" she asks even though she knows the answer. "No, what I meant to ask is, what is your mission here?"

"I am Sailor Venus, leader of the sailor senshi." Moving slowly, as not to give off any trace of aggression, she walks closer. "I have no mission here. Only my duty to protect Princess Serenity."

Could it be the different worlds? She's had to accept that they exist by now, of course. It would explain why one Venus seems to have the same mission as her and one may not. Of course, it also leaves open the possibility that Masked Wind is working for the enemy there. Really, she just can't say what to believe - yet.
Outwardly, she only nods, keeping her eyes on Venus as the other senshi approaches.
"I'm supposed to look for the princess, too," she says. "But until the day I can find her, I've been protecting the people from these creatures."

"You are fighting youma, then." Without turning to the younger girl, the blonde watches her in her peripheral vision. "Tell me what you know of them."

"They seem to be very powerful physically. There's a lot of variation between them, but once their weak point is located, they can be defeated. Most of them don't seem very intelligent, which means it's likely some other intelligence is behind them. But since that varies, too, it could just be a more intelligent youma..." She could go on like this for quite awhile.

"They are guided by a witch known as Beryl, who seeks to harness the power of an evil entity called Metallia. You cannot defeat them alone, Mercury." There's another pause, as she eyes her closely. It's very telling that she hadn't recognized Venus. "The other senshi?"

"But, I don't really know how to make them understand even if I find them. It's an unbelievable story, after all."
