Ocean view. Quiet. No kids or pets allowed in the complex.

Paradise.

Ah, the innumerable sides to the person of Mercury. Kunzite allows himself to appreciate the view within the apartment first. Seeing her so relaxed like this is rare, and he knows it will likely disappear once he makes his presence known, or she notices it.

After a moment, he casually steps into view as if he belongs here in the middle of her apartment with no warning. He reaches down to pick the book up from out of her hands.

Mild surprise comes over her face as her eyes follow the path of the book. Frowning, she crosses her arms, though she stays where she is. "I was just getting to the good part," she admonishes, even as a light smirk tugs the corners of her mouth.

He slips a bookmark from a table by the couch between the pages where she left off, and sets the book aside, rather smug at having so easily deterred Ami's attention from a book.

"I will show you a better part," he offers, face perfectly deadpan except for that almost playful smirk.

Brows raise, and she almost laughs, tilting her head. "Big words," she comments, "Can you really back them up, I wonder?" A tease here, a gentle jab there. Comfortable? Wasn't she always?
